Chinyere has studied tap, ballet, folk, modern jazz, salsa, contemporary dance with Loyce Houlton at The Minnesota Dance Theatre, Classical IndianDance with Ragamala, Bollywood and Bhangra with Savvy, has been a student of African dance for over 10 years and has studied Oriental Dance with Banat el Kamar instructors: Annette Bujold, Amina Beres, Suzanne D'Souza, Nanci Mikrut, and Stephanie Kaiser as well as at the Cassandra school with Kathy McCurdy, Sarah Jones-Larson, Monique Benson, Melanie Meyer and Cassandra Shore.
Chinyere has been a member of Totally Northern Tribal (TNT) under the direction of Anne Farrington, has completed seminars and dance instruction withAliyah Sahar, Artemis Mourat and Eva Cernak (Turkish), Beata and Horatio Cifuentes (Germany), Sylvia Salamanca (Spain), Reetu Jain (India), Blue Lotus(Tribal), The Ordway's Master Dance Class Series: TU Dance (Afro-Brazilian), Oyu Oro (Afro-Cuban/Haitian), Renee Dance Studio (Salsa), and continuesto study the styles of Urban Gypsy, Kajira Djoumahna and Fat Chance Belly Dance.
